Use fly as a recovery tool
Vehicle fly exists on this wiki for one job: the truck is hung on a lip, buried in mud, or wedged under a lot prop, and rocking with 4x4 is not enough. It is not a replacement for a lifted truck and it is not a racing line. Recover, set down, keep driving.

Park or at least stop throttling before you inject. Flying a moving slam through a meet is how people get blocked.
When fly is honest
Honest: a low race splitter caught a driveway you should have scouted with Shift+P. Honest: a squat rear tucked into a curb. Honest: a lift high-centered on a stump. Dishonest: flying the entire farm because walking the access road is too slow. The second one is a different game.
Set the truck down on tires, not on a roof. Disable fly before you hand the lobby a physics object. If the GUI offers a smooth down, use it. If it only offers up, tap gently.
Do not mix fly with giftbox
Same rule as Infinite Yield: overlays eat HUD. Redeem codes with the fly GUI closed. Drive binds on controls should work after you land. If F no longer starts the engine, you are still in a tool mode, not in the truck.
If fly breaks after a patch
Carolina Leaners still updates by shutdown. Universal vehicle fly lags. If the GUI opens and the truck stays glued, stop. Do not inject three fly variants. Respawn if the game allows, or switch to a lift and treat the rest of the night as vanilla. Check updates to see whether terrain even changed.
